Dr Paul Jarman is an Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon who moved to the South Coast in 2009 and has been providing services in both the public and private hospitals ever since. During this time he performed over 5000 procedures.

Dr Jarman has a special interest in primary and revision surgery of the knee, hip, shoulder and elbow. Dr Jarman utilizes the latest technology in computer navigated knee replacement and anterior approach hip replacements. Dr Jarman also specialises in sports reconstruction surgery of the shoulder and knee and trauma, arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.

Dr Jarman has travelled extensively to further his orthopaedic education. Following his orthopaedic training in Australia, Paul undertook further training in Sports Orthopaedic and Upper Extremity Surgery at the Melbourne Orthopaedic Group, a fellowship at Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Institute in London Ontario and Hand and Upper Limb Clinic as the inaugural Shoulder Fellow. Dr Jarman also undertook fellowship in knee surgery at the Mater Hospital in Sydney.

Dr Jarman has undertaken two research degrees in molecular biology and the role of arthroscopy in rotator cuff repair both of which were published and are widely used in teaching today.

Dr Jarman consults and operates at Shellharbour Private Hospital and is able to perform his full range of surgical procedures including joint replacement surgery enabling continuity of care through to the extensive rehabilitation services provided at the hospital.
