Dr Brad Bowling trained in medicine and ophthalmology in Liverpool, Cardiff and Oxford, UK, including a subspecialty glaucoma fellowship. He is a highly experienced eye surgeon, with particular expertise in complex cataract surgery in glaucoma patients and an exceptionally low audited intraoperative complication rate.
Brad has co-authored several major ophthalmology textbooks. His accolades include the Richard Asher Award of the Society of Authors, the Muthusamy Gold Medal for the highest score in the Final Fellowship examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and three UK NHS Clinical Excellence Awards. His published research includes the largest study to date of hospital referrals for suspected glaucoma.
