Dr Mark Haber is a specialist shoulder orthopaedic surgeon who works exclusively on advanced shoulder arthroscopy and open techniques.

Dr Haber has presented in over 20 major international orthopaedic conferences, winning best paper awards including the ISAKOS Caspari award and "best posters category". He has earned international recognition.

He is a world leader in Computer Navigated Shoulder Replacements. His ongoing research evaluating radiological and clinical outcomes has been presented internationally.

Dr Haber also has extensive experience in shoulder arthroscopic procedures and has pioneered modified techniques for arthroscopic rotator cuff and labral repairs. The techniques are now recognized in Europe, Asia, England, and in the US.

His ongoing research includes both biomechanical and clinical studies following rotator cuff repair surgery. With rigorous postoperative evaluations, he is looking at ways to optimise the procedure and rehabilitation. He is also on a design team developing new instruments and implants for shoulder arthroscopy.

Dr Haber provides a convenient "one-stop"’ shoulder clinic with an on-site ultrasound machine and is able to perform diagnostic shoulder ultrasounds as well as guided cortisone injections at the time of the initial consultation.

He is a member of The Shoulder and Elbow Society of Australia, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, The European Society of Sports Injuries and Knee Arthroscopy, the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association, the Australian Orthopaedic Association and Sports Medicine Australia.
